How can i apply for ielts test and how much time will it take? And is it compulsory to have work experience before going for mba in abroad?

IELTS is jointly managed by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (Cambridge ESOL), British Council and IDP Education Australia: IELTS Australia. The IELTS test is conducted by the following educational bodies in partnership: 1. University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (Cambridge ESOL) is an internationally recognized body in the provision of academic and vocational examinations. In the field of English language alone, Cambridge ESOL examines more than one million candidates each year. 2. British Council: With a network of examinations offices in over 100 countries, British Council administers over 500,000 examinations overseas on behalf of British examining boards. 3. IDP Educational Body, Australia (Its subsidiary is IELTS Australia Pvt. Ltd.). IDP Education Australia is Australia's international education organization. It undertakes a broad range of activities from student advisory services and educational publications to project consultancy and English language teaching and testing. It is not necessary to have work exp but if u appear in GMAT work exp is given due weightage.

Hi, As per your query, it seems that you are interested in pursuing MBA from abroad, so regarding this please remember, in order to pursue MBA from good universities abroad you need to have atleast 2-3 years of full time work experience after graduation. However, there are many universities which offers MBA to freshers as well, but it is not advisable to pursue MBA from those universities. If you do not have any work experience and wish to pursue studies from abroad, in that case you may consider pursuing Msc in management from abroad. Feel free to discuss more. Hello Puneet, you may apply for IELTS test either through British Council or IDP; we are the authorized center for registration of IETLS Test, so you can apply through us for Test. IELTS Test is taken in 2 days, covering 3 modules in a day and speaking on other day, while it normally takes a month or 2 to prepare for same based on your English proficiency. Generally MBA requires 2 to 3 years of work experience at Managerial level after your graduation and the normal class age will between 30 to 40 years. For students not having work experience there is an option possible to opt for MBA (without work experience) Also kindly inform me as to which specialization are you planning to study.
