HI Dear, This year due to Covid-19 pandemic situation across the country, LPU professional University has relaxed the eligibility criteria by removing the mandatory qualifying LPU NEST policy. Qualifying LPU NEST criteria is limited to very few programs like B.Tech. I think, it is difficult to conduct also however LPU is conducting proctored LPU NEST but it is not feasible for everyone across the country to appear in an proctored exam. So, it is not mandatory to apply for LPU NEST and to qualify it prior to take admission. Now you can take online admission and can apply for LPU NEST later on. However LPU NEST is always helpful to get or to enhance the scholarship amount. On inquiring for my niece for the programme offered by LPU, I came to know that LPU offers more than 250 programmes with differential eligibility and fee structure. In few courses LPU NEST is mandatory and in few it is not but still you can appear for the scholarship. LPU do offer scholarship to provide financial assistance to the students: 1. On the basis of marks in previous class 2. LPU conducts Lovely professional university national entrance and scholarship test LPU NEST on the basis of which student can enhance their scholarship 3. Hello, Choosing LPU as your academic partner is a good decision. LPU is taking appropriate measure during COVID-19 due to which LPU has moved on to completely online platforms. Lovely Professional University conducts LPU NEST (National Entrance and Scholarship Test). The entrance exam is conducted for various courses where the eligibility criteria is to qualify it as a mandate requirement and for other courses it is a scholarship test. You can apply for LPU NEST through the University Website. For online application, Applicant should have Online Banking facility through Net banking/ Debit card/ Credit card. LPU Admission is based on LPU NEST (LPU National Entrance and Scholarship Test) and other national level entrance examination like JEE Main CLAT ISAT, NEET etc. Recently my brother also appeared for LPU NEST. Steps to be followed are : Register onto LPUADMIT ( https://admission.lpu.in/ ) with basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No. , State, Gender and Password). Your email id will act as your username for the portal and password will be set by you while registering on the portal. You will get a mail on your registered email id regarding this. Login to the LPUADMIT with already created username/ password. LPU NEST is an online test for scholarship. Student can avail huge scholarship based on performance in this test.
