To apply for M.A. in Economics at Panjab University, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria, which includes passing B.A. with Honours in Economics or B.A. with Economics as an elective subject with 50% marks in aggregate. Admission is based on the PU-CET (PG) Entrance Test, with a pass percentage of 35% (30% in case of SC/ST/BC/PwD). The candidate must have passed the entrance test, which is conducted in English only. The fees for the course are as per the Handbook of Information- 2025. The duration of the course is 2 years, with 80+5NRI+4 Foreign National seats available.
