  • Candidates must first check the minimum eligibility and selection criteria for the course they want to pursue. If a student meets the minimum eligibility, then he/she can go ahead by completing the application process. NIT Rourkela further grants admissions based on merit in the last qualifying or entrance examinations and performance in the respective counselling round. For popular courses such as BTech, MTech, and MSc, admission is based on merit in national-level exams JEE Main,  GATE, and IIT JAM.
