Hi,
The admission process for Ph.D. in Life Science programme may vary from college to college. While the admissions in the August month are open to all qualified categories of competitors. Admission is offered on the basis of an interview held typically a month prior to the starting of the semester for which admission is looked for. The interview can be supplemented by an entrance exam, if necessary. Following are a few entrance tests that are conducted by some of the Ph.D. in Life Science colleges in India:

Firstly, you need to decide in which university you wish to apply. You can either appear for examination for which universities inviting application on the months of March-May. If you are selected, you can do research under a registered guide appointed by the university. You will eligible for Stipend during the research period.
