How can I apply for the UGC NET exam, especially when there isn't a specific subject list for rural development?

The UGC NET exam is not conducted in rural development. However, you can apply for the NET exam in a similar subject, such as sociology.

You can choose any subject of your choice as it is stipulated at the NTA UGC bulletin that a candidate having a Masters or equivalent degree with 55% marks can appear for UGC NET Examination in any StreamYou can appear in the Subject Code - 01 which covers Economics / Rural Economics /Co-operation
