How can i be a substantial contribution in research in Tuberous Sclerosis Complex(TSC) ?

I have completed my BDS 1 Month back. I wish to persure research in this genetic disorder called as Tuberous Sclerosis Complex(TSC). What should be the process & procedure? In which subject should i persue my masters to enter research in TSC? Suggest me some good colleges as well.
