How can I become a CBI officer?

CBI stands for the Central Bureau of Investigation. That is the central governing body that investigates the scams related to all fields. Eligibility: The minimum eligibility to join CBI in the assistant grade is a Bachelors degree from a recognised university. Age: The minimum eligible age, to write combined graduate level examination, is 20 years whereas, the maximum age limit is 27 years with relaxation of up to 5-years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC. Height: Height: 165 cms Chest: 76 cms. with expansion Procedure to join: To join the CBI department, you will need to appear for Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam, conducted by the Staff selection commission every year. Examination structure: The examination comprises of two papers. 1. General intelligence & awareness 2. Arithmetic The preliminary exam is followed by the Main exam. The Main exam comprises of: English language, Comprehension, Communication skill and writing ability, Arithmetic and General studies. To join in CBI officer You need to crack CGPE(Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam). This exam conducted by the SSC(Staff Selection Committee). TO become a CBI Officer you have to pass Bachelor's degree course in any stream from recognised university. Your age should be in between 20 to 27 years. The upper age relaxation applicable this exam. 5 years age relaxation for sc/st candidates and 3-years for obc candidates. GENDER: Both male and female eligible to become am CBI officer but you should be a citizen of India.
