How can I become a commercial pilot? Which course do I need to pursue?

Commercial Pilot License is the required qualification to start a career as pilot in passenger and cargo flights. Class 12th with minimum 50% in PCM is mandatory for admission. It will take one year to complete the course. The course is focused on both theory and practical. Theory consists of airline and aviation basics, aviation rules, navigation system, structure and troubleshooting of various air crafts, etc. There will be minimum 1000 hours practical fly training in various air crafts. There is another Pilot License called as Private Pilot License / PPL. 12th standard is the basic criteria for this course and PCM combination is not mandatory. But, only private flights, Helicopters etc. can operate with this license. There will be variations in fees structure in each institution.
