    During your time at law school, make sure you option for the subject of Cyber Law as you elective to get a theoretical understanding of what the subject is all about and what all it will encompass. Try and choose internships and apprenticeships under lawyers practicing Cyber law to build a good CV and also to gain a practical knowledge of the field that you are interested in. Also try to participate in moot courts that focus on cyber law, write papers in the said field and be up to date with all legal developments in your field of interest.     There is no sure shot formula to become any kind of lawyer in India or otherwise.
    However, one can take the following steps that may work in favour of establishing your career as a lawyer in the field of Cyber law.

    Hi,
    So, prior to getting into the specifics, I will suggest to complete a 5 year law course I.E. BA LLB or BBA LLB Bachelor's degree program or 3-year LLB Course. In many colleges, Cyber Law is offered as an elective course right from fourth year where you will learn various facets of Information Technology Act, 2000. Additionally you can do various certificates courses in law schools like CCNA and CHFI, which will add up to your knowledge of cyber security.
