How can I become a film director or a cinematographer or a documentary maker?

Hi Neil, Media line itself is so challenging and direction/cinematography will be more of skill based. To start your career in film making it is necessary for you to gain knowledge about the basic aspects of film making such as Direction, Cinematography,Camera angles, market demand as in what type of films or T.V. shows are in, etc. So I would suggest you join some course related to Film making and direction so that you gain the relevant knowledge. Hi Neil , There are alot of institutes that run short term as well as long term courses in film making. try enrolling yourself to get the basics right .
