In order to become a forest ranger in India, aspirants have to clear the Forest Rangers exam conducted by the State Public Service Commission. Professionals who have cleared the test may have to attend a personal interview subsequently. Aspirants who clear all these formalities can expect employment as Forest Rangers.
    Key points in the process:
Complete the 12 years of schooling.
Pursue a Bachelors degree in Forestry, Natural Resource Management or concerned areas.
Satisfy the physical standards of fitness.
Apply for the Forest Rangers Exam.
Clear the written test and Personal interview so as to become a Forest Ranger.
