How can I become a landscape architect? What kind of starting salary can I expect?

Most professionals working as ‘Landscape Architect’ are from engineering background. So, in order to become architecture in landscape you need to have at least Bachelor’s degree. You will spend 4-5 years taking classes in design, construction techniques, art, history, and natural and social sciences. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have a Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, you can further continue your landscape architect career. But apart from the academic degree, your internal skills matter the most. You must possess a good sense of creativity. Your creativity will allow you to design beautiful outdoor spaces that will be functional as well. Landscape architects must make decisions and solve problems. Strong critical thinking skills will let you identify possible solutions and then evaluate them before choose the best one.
