You need to be a graduate and do your B.Ed with Maths, as one of your method subjects. To teach in schools, you must clear CTET exam. If you clear both the papers then you are eligible to teach till secondary level. After completing M.Sc. In Maths, you can teach in senior secondary classes. You can also clear NET/ SLET exam to teach in college level.

    Hello,
Pursue graduation in Maths, then B.Ed. But, good schools hire teachers with post graduation. If you want to be a lecturer, then clear NET exam after your post-graduation. All the best. If you find this helpful, do give an upvote.

The most common track to be coming a math teachers earning a Bachelor's degree in mathematics supplemented by teacher preparation. Students will typically take two years of general education courses as well as lower-level math courses prior to applying to the teacher preparation programme in the junior year of study.

To become high school level teacher, you should be at least graduate with a B.Ed degree and you should have cleared CTET or STET to be able to teach till grade 8.9 and above grade don't require you to clear these papers but B.Ed and graduation.
To become secondary level teacher you should be post graduate with B.Ed.
