    To become a paleontologist in India, you need to successfully pass 10+2 in the Science stream (physics, chemistry, and biology) after that, you will have to complete a bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in biology/geology. If you wish, you can also complete a bachelor's degree followed by a master's degree and PhD in the same or related subject. In India, many entities in both the public and private sectors hire for the post of paleontologist, including universities, museums, government agencies, and even private research firms.
