    To become a photojournalist, you have to have a graduation degree or Diploma on journalism or photojournalism particularly. There are other diploma courses as well for particularly for photography, one can apply for that also. But completing the course will not be enough. You also need to do couple of internships under a good photojournalist or in a news house as an intern photojournalist (you must have the certificate from that media house after the internship). You also need to do some portfolios on that. On the basis of your portfolios as a fresher you'll be given the job. After getting the job, the starting salary would be between
