Apply for NDA exam which is conducted twice a year. Get through exam, SSB interview, PABT, Medical, and merit then you get call letter for NDA. Spend three years there as air Force cadet and then spend another 1 and half year at AFA, you are ready to go now. Moreover, you can also apply for graduate entries such as AFCAT CDSE, NCC.

You can join Flying branch either after completing class 12th or after a graduation degree. Students can appear for NDA examination conducted twice a year by UPSC after class 12th with PCM to become flying pilot. After NDA, cadets joins AFS to become a pilot.
Any graduate or engineer can join Flying branch in Indian Air Force subject to meet the other criterion.
The following are the three modes of entry for graduates/ engineers to join the Flying branch:
