Educational requirements to becoming a psychologist:
Psychologists require significant formal education. Becoming a licensed psychologist requires a graduate degree; however, with a Bachelor's degree you can work in the field of psychology, as an assistant or in a federal government department. Disciplines where you do not work directly with patients, such as industrial-organizational psychology, can be practiced with a master's degree, but patient care requires completion of a doctorate, which can involve significant clinical work experience. Psychologists must also maintain a license in order to practice. Regards.
