You can become a scientist by an exhaustive study. It is what we call research. You try to assess your capacity for hard work and how you can increase it. Your work should be qualitative also. If you can be complete in your study, your work is finished. It is not just doing some job.

    Hello,
To become a scientist, you need to select subject in which you have more interest, then you can do Bachelor's or Master's degree in this. You can try to publish some research paper on your subject because study may not help you more to become a scientist, but great ideas and research will definitely help you. You must have a Ph.d degree or you need to clear UGC NET exam to get the official job as a scientist.

To get into research field you need to be sound in either maths/chemistry/physics. One option you can complete your graduation and than go for Masters and than PhD. Doing graduation from institute like IISER, Raman Institute or IITs will help you a lot .Doing Masters from top IITs or IISC Bangalore will be better. Another option is you can go for MS in some good foreign university and pursue PhD under a professor, MS from a foreign university have more opportunities in research field. This is one way you can approach in the field of your interest.

Well, if you have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, all three in your Bachelor's degree you should first understand and analyze that which subject you like the most and you are highly interested in. Then devote atleast a year and evaluate the scope of M.Sc in that particular subject, study it and then select the subject. Don't be in a rush, take your time.
