Anyone now days can jump into the field of IT. All you need it just a computer (or a laptop) and hard-work. The college you study in, will obviously have a CSE Department. For coaching, I'll say that there can be two scenarios: 1.) You have a good internet connection and your mind does not deviate to stuff like Facebook, Instagram that easily: DO NOT OPT FOR COACHING, and learn via internet, There are some good and free courses out there. 2.) In ECE, you also have programming languages like C and C++. Further in your 3rd year you are going to learn assembly languages. During your industrial training also you can learn 2-3 languages. Yes, coaching and regular practice will be sufficient to learn a language. You can go for Java or Android.
