    Anyone now days can jump into the field of IT. All you need it just a computer (or a laptop) and hard-work. The college you study in, will obviously have a CSE Department. And when the companies for the CSE students come, you can appear for the post of SOFTWARE DEVELOPER then. All the best, and chase you dreams!

    In ECE, you also have programming languages like C and C++. Further in your 3rd year you are going to learn assembly languages. During your industrial training also you can learn 2-3 languages. So develop your logical and programming skills and it will help you to become a software engineer. Hope it is helpful to you.
