As an ECE graduate you can become software engineer by following options:
(a) You can opt for interdisciplinary M.Tech computer science by appearing for GATE examination.
(b) Opt for IT companies in campus placement. Companies will train you to be a software engineer.
(c) Join training companies

You can get jobs in IT companies and learn all coding skills. You can also opt for IT courses from simplilearn.com.
