    To become an astronaut, you can opt for B.Tech in aeronautical engineering. Job opportunities for aeronautical engineers are available in Airlines, Air Force, Corporate Research Companies, Defence Ministry, Aviation Companies, NASA and many others. The increasing popularity of air travel and space exploration require expertise to design and maintain improvements. Looking at heightening growth rate, the demand for smart and creative aerospace engineers is going to increase in the near future.

    Hello Rishi,
    Astronomy is very deep and interesting subject. This is a very good choice. You can pursue M.Sc. in astronomy, M.Sc. in astrophysics, M.Tech in astroengineering, PhD in astro-science, etc.

    There is a difference between aeronautical engineering and being an astronaut. To become an astronaut you need specialized training conducted only in few locations abroad. You will get all information about it here:

    You should qualify NDA and pursue aeronautical engineering. You should complete your military training as a class 1 defence officer. 90 percent of astronauts are defense officers.
