To become an editor, you typically need to have excellent writing and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of grammar, punctuation, and style. You need to pursue mass communication and journalism from reputed colleges or university like NIMCJ, Amity, MICA Parul, Bennett etc. The starting salary may be Rs 15000 to Rs 30000 depending on your internship experience, writing skill, communication skill, performance and other skills.

After completing the graduation preferably in Journalism and Mass Communication, you will be able to join as sub-editor /copy editor in any print media or electronic media. The starting salary may be INR 15, 000 to INR 30,000 depending on your internship experience, performance and skills. After getting promotion, you will become an editor.
