    Hi,
You have to appear for UPSC exams after graduation (any stream) and minimum age 21 years. There are three stages of civil services exam - preliminary exam (objective type 2 papers - general studies and optional subject). If you clear this and get in the merit cut-off list, you will be allowed to appear for the next level - main exams. (this is more of a written examination). If you clear this and get into merit cut-off list, you will be called for interview (the last step).
Now, based on your all India final ranking and if you get into the merit cut-off list - you can choose your area - IAS IPS IFS etc.
So, work hard and best of luck
