How can I become animation or gaming designer?

Hi harshal! Glad to help you. Since you are interested in computer and Gaming you can choose a career course in multimedia or Gaming. Multimedia includes 2D animation, 3D animation, graphics designing and web designing. You could go for either a degree or a diploma in any of these fields depending on your time limitations and future plans. Animation and gaming industry is growing at a fast pace and there are excellent job opportunities in this field. You could choose 2D, 3D animation, Gaming, graphics or web design. Innumerable artists are required in any full-fledged 2D /3D animated broadcast TV or Film production - Pre-Production artists, Story board artists, BG artists, Layout artist, Scanner operator, Modelers, Texture’s, Lighting rendering artists, Riggers, Character Animators, Matte painters, Roto artists, Compositors, SFX artist to name a few. Graphic and Web designers are essentially absorbed into the Design, Advertising, Web, Publishing and print based industries. In fashion/interior designing and even in medical, legal, architecture, automobile and insurance companies, animators are required to make presentations, models and simulations. Before making up your final decision go through some top animation college websites, download their brochures and meet their career counselors. Harshal, aapne salary negotiations pehle hi chalu kar di, pehle animator/ game designer ban to jaiye. Aapki jankari ke liye shuru mein 10000-15000 aur aage chal kar aapke karyaskshamtanusar vetan badhega. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Opportunities lie in UI Design, Graphic Design, Storyboarding, Animation Design, Game Design, 3D Modelling, Texturing and Lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation (2D and 3D). However, choosing between these must be done after seeing your performance in each of these. So going for a generic course covering all or most of these would be the best way to get started in these careers. Typically you should have good sketching skills to be able to make a sound career in this (if you work hard you can improve your drawing skills tremendously). Nothing but your innermost talent and passion should lead you to the course and the institute you choose. Go speak to people over there and see if you like their philosophy and they change your perspective.Try their website for more details. Also remember that Animation requires good mentoring. You can do course or degree in animation field, you can learn about photoshop, flash, visual effect and many more thing in this whihc is helpful in designing , there are many institution like arena animation

Hello Harshal, You may become Animator or Game Designer by learning these skill oriented programs. If you are creative, do opt for Career in Animation or Gaming. These Vocational Careers leads to a job, freelance your services or even become self employed. Career Spectrum includes working for Animation Studios working on Animation films or Animation Services, Production Houses involved in visual effects & editing, Gaming Co's for Mobile, Console and Online applications, Ad Agencies creating Advertisements, Web & Internet Companies developing Websites, E-Learning Co's developing educational contents, Architectural Co's using 3d Walk Through, Graphic Design Co's involved in Print-Publishing, Imaging, Packaging, Layout design etc. among other avenues. Animation calls for a wide bouquet of skills from traditional art skills to articulation skills, storytelling to aesthetic appreciation, and creativity to technical prowess.
