If you want to pursue B.A(Hons.) English then there is no deduction of marks you can add up your marks in following sequence:-
1. English.
2. Physics.
3. Chemistry/computer science/I. P.
4. Maths. These total subject marks are calculated against the cut-off released by DU. For other B.A. courses your 2.5% is deducted from best 4 subject parentage. For more information regarding admission process you can visit DU website. -
In order to calculate your best of four, you need to choose your subjects that have been listed in two lists. The subjects like physics, maths, history, geography, political Science and many others have been listed in the first list. Including these subjects won't cause a deduction, however that also depends upon your course and your stream. Further there are subjects like physical education, fine arts which may cause a deduction. You can use the following link for help-

Hi,
As per the admission curriculum of DU, you should have at least one language subject as a part of the best of four subjects which you'd require to get admission. For calculating it, just add the total of your best of four subjects (language included), divide it by the total, that is 400 and multiply the result by 100. -
For calculating best off 4 marks uhh must include
1. English bcoz lang. Is compulsory uhh add any of the lang. Uhh would studied .
2. Ur r non med student soo 3 subject from those uhh choose
a. Physics
b. Chemistry
c. Maths if in ur main subject .
d. Physical education if ur in main subject
Any other additional subject lyk Information technology . -
Because you changed your stream that's why while calculating your percentage you have to deduct 2.5 % from your total percentage.

Hi.
While practicing the Maharashtra HSC 12th previous years' question papers is an excellent study strategy, relying solely on past papers is generally not sufficient to guarantee clearing the board exam with good marks.
Here's a breakdown of why and what additional steps are needed:
Why Previous Years' Papers are Not Enough on Their Own
- Syllabus Coverage: Previous papers primarily test a sampling of the syllabus from past years. New exams may include different topics or ask questions in formats not seen in older papers. Relying only on them leaves gaps in your subject knowledge.
- Fundamental Understanding: Simply memorizing
