    Hi pramod patil
Kindly predict your college in this college predictor. JEE Main rank predictor is an online tool which predicts the candidates rank range and probable colleges based on the difficulty level of the examination, average marks scored in JEE Main and seats available in IITs, NITs, GFTIs, and other SFTIs. The rank predicted might not be accurate but it certainly does give an idea to the aspirant. Know your college admission chances based on your JEE Main Rank, Home State, Caste, Gender, etc. Here https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/resources/jee-mains-college-predictor
    Hope this helps!
    Good Luck. !!

With 79 marks, you won't get much unless you belong to some category through JEE Mains.
Still, to choose a college, you need to fill your preference in
    JoSAA portal.
According to your rank, they will allot you a branch and college.
As you didn't score well in JEE, I would suggest you to explore your possibilities in top private colleges to make the best out of it. All the best.

Apply for Jossa counseling for getting colleges like NIT, IIT or GFTI. To get admission in other state board colleges go for state counseling of different states.
