With 79 marks, you won't get much unless you belong to some category through JEE Mains. Still, to choose a college, you need to fill your preference in JoSAA portal. According to your rank, they will allot you a branch and college. As you didn't score well in JEE, I would suggest you to explore yo

Apply for Jossa counseling for getting colleges like NIT, IIT or GFTI. To get admission in other state board colleges go for state counseling of different states.
