CAT/MAT are not just qualifying exams. You need to score well in percentile to get admission in a good B-school. Top B-schools have their cutoffs more lying more than 90 percentile. So try to score well to get into a good B-school for MBA studies.

Hello! There is nothing like clear or fail marks in any entrance exams like CAT, MAT, etc. One has to clear the cutoffs of the particular B-schools (where one wishes to apply and take admission). And yes, it is compulsory without which one cannot get shortlisted for the interview rounds (if any).

In general, as per available education sources, the CAT cutoff for FLAME University lies around 70–75 percentiles for the 2025 admissions. Though this score helps the candidates qualify for the shortlisting stage, FLAME follows a holistic selection process; hence, the final admission also depends on academic records, interviews, and overall profile strength.

However, according to the CAT Cutoff 2024, students need to secure at least 40 percentile for successful admission at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. If students have appeared for the XAT exam, then a 70 percentile would be needed for MBA admission.
