Asked about IIM Ahmedabad - Indian Institute of Management - Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Graduate in Manufacturing Engineering from Bits Pilani with 2 year backs. 5.9GPA. I got 9.4 GPA in X Science stream CBSE . and 88% in XII Science stream CBSE. Do note that I also dropped an year after my XII to prepare for entrance exams. What good options do I have ? I am not worried about CAT.

    Dear Shubham,
In that case, the only thing which can save you is your Work Experience and Your Extra Curricular. Ask yourself, that what additional do you have in your profile apart from academia. Hello,The points where you can put your case forward. Of course, marks plays an important role, but these are not the only factor in selections for IIMs or ISB Hyderabad. Also, if you are sure about your CAT/ GMAT marks, put your focus on GD-PI round. You shouldn't worry about what you have lost, put your focus on what you can gain.
    Thank you.

If you've worked somewhere, show the IIM interviewers what value did you bring in both for yourself as well as for your organization. You can compensate for your past by pursuing some significant certification courses and internships which highlight your genuine interest in the would-be field of MBA. Good luck!
