Six months is pretty much time to score a decent score in CMAT because it is not as much difficult exam when compared to CAT or XAT.
Make your timetable and practice daily according to that only. Solve as many sample question paper as you can. For CMAT you need to prepare for General Knowledge also so focus on quant, verbal and GK all. You cannot leave any section because that will affect your score. For practice you can refer books of Arun Sharma for quant and English. To improve vocabulary you can solve word power made easy by Norman Lewis and for GK you can refer Lucens General Knowledge latest edition.
