It depends on whether you are working or a student. Make your plan according to the time you can give for the preparation on a daily basis.
Work on your plan and identify your weakness and strength.
Try to plan and identify above stated things within a week. Set your plan agile and keep buffer time for revision and solving mock test papers.
Start with your verbal and quantitative practice in parallel. Six months can make or change the game, time management is very important at every single point of time till the final day and even on the day.

Six months is pretty much time to score a decent score in CMAT because it is not as much difficult exam when compared to CAT or XAT.
Make your timetable and practice daily according to that only. Solve as many sample question paper as you can. For CMAT you need to prepare for General Knowledge also so focus on quant, verbal and GK all. You cannot leave any section because that will affect your score. For practice you can refer books of Arun Sharma for quant and English. To improve vocabulary you can solve word power made easy by Norman Lewis and for GK you can refer Lucens General Knowledge latest edition. -

7 years agoCommon Management Admission Test (CMAT) is an AICTE approved entrance exam. CMAT is accepted by all AICTE approved universities and B-Schools. In Maharashtra, State Universities made this exam mandatory for all India students.
Here there are main 3 section, Mathematics, English and General knowledge
