How can I crack CPT in 3 months?

Definitely, it is not you alone but almost all the students who are planning to appear for CPT exam and are going to get roughly 3 months for preparation. Let me tell you this, 3 months are more than sufficient. There are certain tips that I would like to give you here: 1. Pay attention to all subjects as you know it is compulsory to pass in all topics, so you cannot skip out on maths, economics or any of the topics. 2. Attempt a lot of scanners or previous year papers. This will help you understand how to time yourself and also it will indicate to you what chapters you need to focus on. 3. Since you are already through with TS in accounts and Sandeep Garg, you have the knowledge of around 80% of the syllabus in both accounts and economics, therefore you will have time to focus on law specially mercantile law, which is a new subject for you. So manage your schedule accordingly. It will not be very difficult to clear this exam and if you put in a hard work you can pass with flying colours. It's always beneficial to enter the course with good marks as it boosts your confidence.

Hello, CA CPT is the first exam of CA. So, one needs to have a clear knowledge in concepts. The following are some of the preparation tips: 1) You need to score at least 30% in all subjects. So, you need to concentrate on all subjects to qualify the basics. 2) Since you are appearing for a CA exam, the accounting skills are very important. If your basics in accounts are clear, your chances of clearing the examination would be high. So, take more practice on accounting as well as the theory part too. 3) Another important prospect for CPT is the Mercantile Law. After accounts, it is referred to as the most scoring subject. Again, practice and learn the Contract Act as well. 4) Economics as a whole is an easy scoring when compared to other subjects. Among, other chapters, Macro Economics has more weightage and so make sure that you give more importance to it. 5) In mathematics and statistics, not all topics are the same. There are some easier than others and so try and complete the ones learned during your school days. Try to complete differentiation and integration, correlation and regression and theoretical distribution as these are important. 6) Most importantly, attempt only questions that you are sure. After that, go for the parts that you are not sure about or confident. 7) Study with planning. Don't act rapidly and hastily study anything. Make a system and then stick to it. Remember that, the more you practice the more you get.
