    Yes, most students giving CPT will have approximately 6 months only. Practice well from TS Grewal till you are in 12th. This will build your basics. After board exams, start with the basic modules that come along with the enrollment. Past papers is a must. People tend to ignore ICAI material but I think ICAI material is sufficient enough for a good preparation.
    You'll feel pressure in between but keep giving your best and practice every day. Identify your weak areas and focus more on those areas. Since most of the topics will be familiar, you'll be able to cover the course faster.

    Six months is pretty adequate time to crack CPT with a good score. But to crack CPT one should know the basics of the subjects.
    If you are a commerce background student then you will be having the knowledge of economics and accounts so you can do well in those subjects but if you are not you really have to prepare a lot of things.
    Make your daily schedule and study according to that, time management is most important. Study the books provided by ICAI those will be more than enough, but study them very well. And try to solve the whole book of sample papers by ICAI. Do not just randomly start any paper, set the timer in stopwatch and solve
