How can I crack IPUCET in 3 months?

Since 3 months is a long time. It is enough to go through each and every topic mentioned in the IPUCET curriculum. I would recommend you to join a crash course program from some of the good and reputed coaching centre close to your home (as I would not want you to waste your time in going from home to classes and vice versa). Lastly, you need to keep a positive frame of mind during the last few days and should start solving mock test papers to gain confidence and to get an idea of how you should manage time during the examination. Many students appearing for engineering entrance exams are unable to decode the correct pattern for studies and hence they are unable to get the results which they want. Only a few students know how to prepare and get the results in the same time interval in which others fail. Well, here is the reason and the tips one should follow to top the university exams in just three months. Though the paper is based on Mains pattern, the focused study is still needed to get the desired branch. All the topics that a student has covered should be revised. Also, before the preparations, one is advised to go through the syllabus and past 6 or 8 years question papers to know the paper pattern and level. There should be a check that no unnecessary time is wasted on the topics with less priority or the topics from which chances are very less for a question to be asked. Also, to remove the panic situation and silly mistakes, one should practise an online or offline mock test which will be really helpful. At last, getting into the premier institutes require a hardcore practice of about 6 to 7 hours a day with no compromises. Thank you and best of luck.

Hey there, Well, I will try to answer this question relating it to myself as I have appeared for this exam 2 times (I am a dropper) and will give the all possible tips/tricks to crack this exam. I can only give a brief about B.Tech exam of IPUCET that I have experienced. The question paper will consist of total 150 objective the questions. 50 mathematics, 50 chemistry, and 50 physics. Just maintain a very good speed because you have to do 150 questions in 2 and a half hours. Attempting all the 150 question in just 2.5 hrs is impossible. So, you are not advised to take a target of 150 questions. You are advised to go for 70-90 question. If you are able to attempt 75 question with 100% probability that they will be right, then your rank will fall under top 4000. I myself did this mistake in my first attempt in 2015 of IPUCET, I targeted to attempt all the 150 questions, that was my biggest mistake, I was able to attempt just 40-45question in which 20-25 questions were attempted wrong. I ended up with a rank of 25000. That was really a bad rank. Also, my JEE Mains rank was not that good. So, I decided to take a drop and work on my weak areas. I learnt from my mistakes that I did in my previous entrance exams. In my second attempt of 2016, I aimed to go for just 65-75 questions. I attempted a total of 78 questions. And, I ended up with some 4200 rank. Only 13-15 questions came out to be wrong after discussing the paper with my friends. So, attempting just half the 150 questions is always a better and safe choice. Tips- Focus more on chemistry, it's the most scoring part. For Chemistry do NCERT completely and must be on tips and previous year JEE papers. First try 1 line questions, as they seem to be theoretical and conceptual based. You just need to look up on the question and the choices that are provided, and you will get the right answer in seconds just by looking on them. In Maths, focus on doing a lot of questions. The overall paper is not as difficult as compared to JEE Mains level. The math section is one of the toughest and time consuming too but the physics and chemistry section is not so difficult if your concepts are clear. First attempt chemistry, physics and in last maths. Be calm and take a water bottle with you because the paper will be held in the afternoon of 2 pm. The day when paper is going to be held is going to be very hot. All the best.

The test paper will contain 150 objective-type questions in all. Each question shall carry four marks. There will be negative marking for incorrect answers. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. The written test will be of two and a half hours duration and will carry 600 marks. 1. B.Tech Biotechnology the percentage of weightage given to subjects are Physics (25%); Chemistry (25%); Biology ie Botany and Zoology (50%) 2. For all the other B.Tech course equal weightage is given to all subjects. Mathematics (33%), Physics (33%) and Chemistry (33%) The inter-se-merit of candidates securing equal aggregate marks in common entrance test will be determined according to the following criteria. 1. The candidates getting higher marks in Math in CET shall rank higher 2. In case of candidates securing equal marks in the aggregate of PCM as well as in Math separately in CET, then the candidate getting higher marks in Physics shall rank higher 3. In case of tie in either of 2 conditions above, the candidate older in age shall rank higher 4. The candidates getting higher marks in Biology /biotechnology in CET shall rank higher 5. In case of candidates securing equal marks in the aggregate of PCB/PC-Bio-Technology as well as in Biology/Bio-Technology separately in CET, then the candidate getting higher marks in Chemistry shall rank higher 6. In case of tie in either of 2 conditions above, the candidate older in age shall rank higher Preparation Tips: - In the engineering entrance exams, questions are asked on the application of the concepts, unlike medical where the questions asked are factual in nature. So, a student needs to practice a lot of questions so that he/ she can easily apply the inherent concepts.To excel in Mathematics and Physics one would need a lot of practice. Solve as many questions as one can and revise the formulae every day. - Always keep in mind the system of merit determination where certain subjects are given higher preference while allocating the state wide ranks - Time management is the most critical factor in the preparation of any objective type entrance exams. Students should develop the habit of writing as many tests as possible. So, write tests with such a speed that you can complete the tests within stipulated time.
