How can I crack NMAT-UG in 6 months?

It all depends upon time management. Preparation can be of three types: self, self plus coaching, coaching. It depends on whether you are a working professional or a student. So, if you are working you have to prepare either by self-using the correspondence booklets or you can take the option of taking weekend coaching classes. Also, you can buy some famous books used for the preparation of MBA entrance exams. But if you are a student then you have a good amount of time to prepare. So you can use the correspondence course and books initially for self-preparation and later can join coaching classes for brushing up your preparation with added techniques. So, any MBA entrance exam has generally three sections- quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning & data interpretation and verbal reasoning along with the study of general current affairs. So, depending on your strengths, weakness and speed, prepare the three sections accordingly and nail the exam.

Make your plan according to the time you can give for the preparation on a daily basis. Work on your plan and identify your weakness and strength. Try to plan and identify above stated things within a week. Set your plan agile and keep buffer time for revision and solving mock test papers. Start with your verbal and quantitative practice in parallel. Six months can make or change the game, time management is very important at every single point of time till the final day and even on the day. Keep positive! Solve questions in a specified time frame this will help you in doing questions in time. Maintain a good balance between your accuracy and solving time. Be focused and calm. For the last month keep all the formulas and tricks handy and revise on a daily basis. Remember not to be emotional while solving or appearing for exam.

NMAT is being conducted by Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). The management entrance exam is held for admission to 23 B-Schools across the country. This is the time when you should concentrate and make strategies for the exam. Without proper study plan, you cannot get success. Recognise your weak areas and concentrate on improving that area. Build up your strengths and work on your weaknesses. First, clear your fundamentals and then practice to boost your speed and accuracy. Divide the whole syllabus into parts and study accordingly. Mark your strong and weak points separately. If you are weak in any area, there is no need to worry about that. You are having enough time to beat your weaknesses. Make a list of your weak points and try to cover them. Solve the practice papers even if you are not well prepared. This will help you understand that where do you lack and what you are best at. All the best.
