SRMJEEE is actually not a very tough exam when compared to JEE Mains, BITSAT, etc., but that doesn't mean things can be taken for granted either, particularly taking into consideration the heavy competition that there is for such exams. So, read further to gain an insight on the little you could do to crack this little nut of an exam with a really good rank.
First of all, take a look at the syllabus that is given to you in the SRM prospectus. Most of it would be the same as your class 11th and 12th PCM syllabus. If you are a CBSE student, you will find that they are exactly the same topics as in the NCERTs.

Cracking SRMJEE in three months is not a big deal. You can easily crack it even if you have studied for your boards properly. The level of paper is not so high. Someone who is preparing for JEE can crack SRMJEE very easily. Syllabus is similar but there is a slight difference between JEE paper and SRMJEE paper which one can easily handle just by solving a dozen of mock papers.
The strategy you should follow to crack SRMJEE with flying colors:
1.Stick to the basics and concept of each and every topic should be clear.
2.Revise NCERT and practice quality questions.

If you have prepared rigorously for JEE Mains for one or two years then you can easily crack the exam. I won't beat around the bush. Mainly revise everything which you have studied till now. Generally, memorise all the formulas for general cases as the exam has a lot of time constraint. Once check the syllabus and make sure you didn't leave any important topic. Then mainly focus on solving practice tests. There are many books available in the market providing mock tests on SRMJEE. But be a bit careful and buy from trusted publications. Another important thing is to give this time under real exam conditions I.e. under a time constraint.
