XAT stands for Xavier's' Aptitude Test. It is a national level entrance examination conducted by XLRI every year for selecting the most appropriate students for management education.
The paper can be split into three parts: concept driven, practice intensive and environment sensitive. Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation and selected areas of Verbal and Logical Ability are concept driven. Decision Making and Analytical Reasoning is a purely practice intensive section while General Knowledge is environment sensitive. Language Comprehension
Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation
Logical Reasoning
General Awareness
These are the major questions which will be asked for XAT.
XAT is completely online exam.
The exam is divided in 4 sections with 25 MCQs in each section. Total questions are 100. All questions will carry equal marks in XAT. Each correct answer will be awarded 4 marks and there will be negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer.

If you are planning for Xavier's Aptitude Test for PGDM than you have very good scope for PGDM or MBA so I will like to help you for preparation of XAT exam so you are planning for XAT 2019 than start preparing for exam from now the portion is not too hard but it's not easy also.

7 years agoMake your plan according to the time you can give for the preparation on a daily basis.
Work on your plan and identify your weakness and strength.
Try to plan and identify above stated things within a week. Set your plan agile and keep buffer time for revision and solving mock test papers.
Start with your verbal and quantitative practice in parallel. One year time can make or change the game, time management is very important at every single point of time till the final day and even on the day.

1) Analyse your strengths and weaknesses: Analyse your strong as well as weak areas, start with the preparation of your weak areas and focus on making them your strong areas.
