Agreeing to what Suryap and Arvind ji said I would like to add here that the best way to prepare for your GK is to read newspaper, listen to news, read various General Knowledge Magazines for logical reasoning, you can consult various books available in the market such as R.S. Aggarwal &

Apart from reading GK books and logical reasoning related books, it would be better to inculcate habit of reading of newspapers and magazines, watching current affair programs in News channels. For GK, study books for preparation of NDA / CDSE entrance exams. For logical reasoning,study books meant for MBA entrance tests. Moreover, for logical reasoning, study editorials of good national newspapers.They give you analytical reasoning.Also read critical comments on recent political events. T

For GK, i would suggest the following options
1. CBSE books
2. SPECTRUM Guide
3. Chronicle
4. Magazines like India Today/ Business today/ GK Today etc
for logical reasoning, try practicing as much as you can. Books to be referred are
