How can I gain some experience in handling of cell culture or microbiological techniques?

Which institutes are offering research related experience? Being a science post graduate with M.Sc zoology, I want to work on some research projects as assistant but they all demand for some kind of experience in molecular biology or cell culture technique handling or kind of microscopy knowledge.
