For campus placements basics of c, networking and datastructure are more than enough.
but if u are not able to crack do some courses or live projects in java(core+advaced)

With your question, I presume that you are looking for IT sector jobs during campus placement. If so, then you need to work on C+ and one of JAVA or DotNet. Generally campus placement companies are not in web designs, so, ASP.net, JAVAscript, PHP, Python etc are not required.

Electronics & Communication Engineer can apply for all jobs where computer science graduates are required, as more than 70% Syllabus of ECE is equivalent to CSE.
