Hello, If you want to apply for the railway jobs, you must complete the ITI, Polytechnic courses or Degree in any technical field. The eligibility for the exam is different for various posts. The Group D posts are the small posts in railways and would make you eligible after completing you schooling. If you want to go for higher posts including JE or SSE, you must complete the graduation in the technical field
Railways provides various job vacancies in the technical, non-technical, Group D and other posts

    Hi Laxmikant!
You need to be a graduate first in order to apply for jobs in railways. Once you complete your graduation, you can appear for the following exams:
    1. If you are an engineering graduate, then you can write the Engineering services exam conducted by the UPSC in the discipline of civil, electrical, electronics and communication, mechanical engineering. This exam is conducted by UPSC every year and any engineering graduate irrespective of the graduation subject can write this exam in any of the subjects out of four mentioned above. That means you can write this exam by civil engineering even you have B.Tech in computer Science
