For BTech at RKGITM students must passed 10+2 PCM in Science stream with 50% marks. Admission is based strictly on valid JEE Main or CUET UG scores, followed by participation in UPTAC counselling by AKTU. For Lateral admissions students must pass Diploma in Engineering in relevant stream.

You must have passed Class XII with pcm, pcb or pcmb with atleast 45 - 60% depending on category.
For lateral Entry (Second year)
A three-year Engineering Diploma with at least 60% and also your parents must be a UP domiciles
Or
A B.Sc. degree with mathematics with st least 60%.
2. Admission:-
Admission to the first year is entirely entrance based through JEE Mains and counseling under AKTU.
Also, there is 15% management quota.You apply directly to the institute's admission office as per norms of state government.
