Admission to the MBA programme at Guwahati University is solely determined by a student's merit, both as an undergraduate and as a result of their performance on the national and university entrance exams. The university administers its own admissions exam. However, individuals who have passed national entrance exams, such as CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT, and have a score of at least 75 percentile, are excluded from taking the exam.
