How can I get admission in a college (Bangalore) to pursue B.Tech?

<p>To secure admission to a government college in Bangalore, there are two options available. The first is through a central university or college, while the second is through a state university or college. To apply for a central university, one must appear for the JEE Mains and JEE Advanced exams. Based on the ranks and marks obtained, applications can be submitted to various central universities in Bangalore. However, if the desired central university is IISC Bangalore or IIT Bangalore, eligibility is limited to those who have excelled in the JEE Advanced exam and achieved a rank that meets their specific cutoff criteria. State universities offer admission based on either the JEE Mains exam rank or through an entrance test conducted by the Karnataka government, known as KCET. Once the results for JEE Mains, JEE Advanced, and KCET are announced, universities release branch-specific cutoffs according to different criteria. This is the process through which admission can be obtained in Bangalore.</p>
