You can get lateral entry in B.Tech very easily after doing diploma in any of the engineering branches which is normally of 3 years means 6 semesters you have to pass all the semesters without any backlogs and then you can easily apply in any university for B.Tech and they will surely give you lateral entry in the second here in the course you want in B.Tech. But remember to maintain a good percentage up to at least 60% marks in your overall Diploma.

You have to pursue Diploma and should clear the same within 3 years and you have to appear for an exam conducted at the end of 3rd year and it is conducted branch wise. You have to crack the exam to get a seat.
