    The eligibility to pursue design:
    One needs to pass 12th class with a minimum of 50% marks. The process of admission to design is through an entrance examination. This is known as Common Entrance Examination for Design UCEED it is conducted by IIT Mumbai every year. Reputed institutes conduct their own entrance exams. Top colleges are:
    National Institute of Fashion Technology
    Indian Institute of Art and Design Mumbai
    National Institute of Design
    Lovely professional University, Punjab
    International School of Design
    Indian Institute of Fashion Technology
    LISAA School of Design
    Pearl Academy
    JD Institute of Fashion Technology.

    Hi,
    With the changing times and trends, new innovations and modernity have come into play, making jewelry a vast field to experiment professionally in. Traditional ornaments and urban designs and technologies have led to metals being used in a variety of ways. B.Des in jewellery design is a 3-year undergraduate academic arts-centered programme.
    The basic eligibility criterion for pursuing the course is a 10+2 or equivalent qualification in any stream from a recognised educational Board. You need to appear for the following exams to take admission in the top design colleges:
