For admission into MBBS or BDS courses throughout India, you need to appear for the common entrance cum eligibility test, NEET. There's no other gateway. The eligibility criteria for NEET is that you have to score 50% aggregate in physics, chemistry and biology in class 12th. -
The eligibility for BDS is you need to score a minimum of 50% in the senior secondary examination with physics, chemistry, biology and English. The average tuition fee of Bachelor of Dental Surgery [BDS] ranges from INR 50,000 to INR 12 lakhs.
The most common entrance for the same is AICET BDS. Other than this exam, there are exams like NEET, MU OET, DUMET, AIPMT, and COMEDK.
