Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. CLAT is just one of the gateways for getting admission to LL.B. And LL. M. courses at 22 National Law Universities. Apart from CLAT, there are many other universities and institutes that conduct entrance exams to provide admission to these courses. Some of the most popular law entrance exams in India other than CLAT are:
AILET - All India Law Entrance Test
ISAT - Law School Admission Test
SLAT - Symbiosis Law Admission Test
    Delhi University Law Entrance Exam
BLAT - Banaras Hindu University Law Admission Test
Also, some other private colleges provide admissions to 5-year LL.B. Programs based on class 12 scores

Private colleges offer direct admissions, they also take admissions on the basis of CLAT score. You can also do UG from DU, etc. , and then pursue a 3-year law, but do not run after a reputed college if you are doing law. https://www.shiksha.com/law/articles/mystory-diwakar-goel-the-scope-of-law-is-tremendous-blogId-17833.

CLAT is entrance for NLUs, except NLU Delhi for which there is AILET. For other reputed colleges in Maharashtra, MHTCET is mandatory. For private reputed colleges like Symbiosis SET is necessary.

    Hello,
Even if you haven't scored well in your CLAT entrance, still not a problem, because some colleges will see your rank and calculate your class 10th and class 12th marks also. And, accordingly you can get into a good college.

Symbiosis, Amity, KIIT, Christ, UPES, BHU, AMU, etc are reputed colleges and you can obviously get to do law even without CLAT.

See, all the law colleges accept different entrance exams. For example, the NLUs accept CLAT score. Symbiosis accepts SET score. Some accept CET, some accept AILET and some accept MNLAUT. So, it is advisable to take all the entrances so that even if you do not score the required cut-off for CLAT then you have other options available. Work hard and prepare well.
    All the best.
