Private colleges offer direct admissions, they also take admissions on the basis of CLAT score. CLAT is entrance for NLUs, except NLU Delhi for which there is AILET. For other reputed colleges in Maharashtra, MHTCET is mandatory. For private reputed colleges like Symbiosis SET is necessary.

Symbiosis, Amity, KIIT, Christ, UPES, BHU, AMU, etc are reputed colleges and you can obviously get to do law even without CLAT.

Hello, Even if you haven't scored well in your CLAT entrance, still not a problem, because some colleges will see your rank and calculate your class 10th and class 12th marks also. And, accordingly you can get into a good college.

See, all the law colleges accept different entrance exams. For example, the NLUs accept CLAT score. Symbiosis accepts SET score. Some accept CET, some accept AILET and some accept MNLAUT.
