How can I get admission in AIIMS for biotechnology course? I have scored 88% in 12th.

Dear aspirant, Master of Biotechnology is a two-year full-time course. The course in Masters in Biotechnology started at this Institute in 1986 was the first in the country based in a medical centre. The training emphasis in this course is on medical aspects related to diagnosis and therapy using modern biotechnological tools of recombinant DNA technology and immunology. Training especially emphasis on laboratory methodology and self-sufficiency in planning an execution of research projects. The syllabus includes recombinant DNA technology, hybridoma technology, T cell cloning, immunological assays, genetics biophysical and biochemical dissertation handling. A dissertation on any of the above aspects chosen by the candidate is included as part of the course. Admission Process: Admission will be made entirely on the basis of performance of candidates at the Entrance Examination to be conducted in Delhi/ NCR. Eligibility: The candidate must possess one of the following qualifications and have secured at least 60% marks for General/OBC candidates (55% marks in case of SC/ST candidates) in aggregate in the qualifying examination: MBBS/BDS (55% for Gen/OBC & 50% for SC/ST Categories) B. V. Sc. B. Pharmacy Bachelor of Physiotherapy B.Sc. Degree of minimum three years duration in any subject. (Candidates having the degree other than above are not eligible). .

AIIMS doesn't offers B.Sc. Biotechnology course. But there are some UG courses which offered by AIIMS 1)MBBS 2)paramedical course (PM) 3)B.Sc (hons) opthalmic technique 4)B.Sc (hons) medical technology. But for Masters YES AIIMS offers PG course for biotechnology.
