To apply for B.E./B.Tech at Aligarh College of Engineering and Technology (ACET), candidates must clear the JEE Mains and participate in the Joint Admission Committee (JAC) online counseling process. The admission process involves online registration through the JAC portal where candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of 2800 for general candidates and 1400 for SC/ST/PWD categories. During registration, necessary documents like class 12 marksheets and caste certificates are uploaded. Admission is based on the JEE (Main) All India Rank (AIR) through multiple online counseling rounds.

Aligarh College of Engineering and Technology has eligibility requirements for students seeking admission into the B.E. / B.Tech courses which include passing their 12th grade with the specified marks; in most cases, at least 60 percent. Admission takes place through Uttar Pradesh state entrance examination (UPSEE) after applying to the college and then follows the counseling and document verification.

On the other hand, candidates can also apply directly as per their performance in 12th grades and may not be required to go through any entrance exam for this. However, UPSEE seems to be the most common avenue for application.
