    Here are some ways that can get you a chance for admission in IIIT Delhi if you couldn't get a seat in JoSAA counselling: 

    • Spot Round : Vacant seats that are left by students due to any reason are filled in this round . The admission is solely based on first come first serve basis . This is conducted after the JoSAA counselling process. 

    • Direct Admission: If a candidate has good academic and co curricular merit with great scores in JEE Mains/Advanced entrance examination, They may get direct admission in the institute.

    There are a few ways to get admission in an IIIT Delhi after 6 grounds of JoSAA.

    • Spot Round: The Spot Round is conducted by JoSAA after the 6 grounds of counseling. In this round, vacant seats are filled on a first-come, first-served basis
    • Direct Admission: Some IIITs offer direct admission to students who have a good academic record and have scored well in the JEE Main or other entrance exams.
    • Special Grounds: JoSAA conducts special grounds to fill vacant seats after the Spot Round. These grounds are usually conducted in the month of July or August.

Even if you pass JEE Advanced and JEE Main, of you do not have 75% minimum marks in class 12 boards you will no get admissions.

The JEE Advanced JoSAA counselling dates will be made available on the official website of JoSAA - josaa.nic.in. Usually, the JoSAA counselling registration starts a day after the JEE Advanced result is anniunced. Complete schedule will be available on the official website.

No, one does not have to apply separately at IIT Madras website after JoSAA counselling. This is because the institute follows a common admission process for its BTech course just like the other IITs. Shortlisted students who get a seat through the JoSAA counselling, simply need to report for document verification and pay the acceptance fees. All the details of the students will be forwarded to IIT Madras by JoSAA directly. Information about the orientation, fee payment, and hostel allocation will be mailed online.
